New Fields to Bloom: A Letter to Spiritist Immigrants.

Today, we find ourselves on Canadian soil. Whether guided by our free will or following a path meticulously planned in our reincarnation, we have landed here with minimal baggage but hearts filled with the genuine desire to construct a joyful future in unfamiliar territories.

Alongside our values and accomplishments, we also face numerous pains and challenges. As immortal spirits undergoing earthly experiences, we migrated without abandoning our inner commitments. We carry the imperative to illuminate our light, address our shadows, and progress.

Many of us left our home countries, and it was in Canada that we first encountered Spiritism. This doctrine enlightens us and calls us to engage in redemptive work and transformation.

In Canada, we have encountered fellow spiritists who foster mutual enlightenment under the guidance of Christ and the light of the Spirit of Truth. We have founded or joined a Spiritist Centre — a beacon of light that connects us, brothers and sisters, from distant lands, fostering an environment for enlightenment and labour. Like the past explorers, we also set off for a faraway land, but no longer to explore or to simply bring material progress, but mainly to learn to love and shine the light of the Gospel of Jesus. There are new fields to blossom.

What is expected of each one of us is to firmly establish the teachings of the Gospel of Jesus in our intimacy, and to awaken ourselves in an educational process. May the great educator Allan Kardec assist us in our commitment to self-evangelization. First and foremost, let us become Spiritist advocates through our actions, recognizing that we can only share what we embody, and actively nurturing the values of goodness and charity within ourselves.

Courage, my brothers and sisters, Christ's homeland is the planet. May we have the courage to face the greatest battle of all, our inner battle.

Let us honour the Gospel we hold in our hands. May the light of the Gospel begin in the heart of each one of us, in our emotional relationships, and in our families.  And so may we become living examples of Christ building the solid foundations of our Spiritist Centres in Canada, founded on the Gospel that we carry within us, which should spread light, understanding, and love to an entire society.

Facing the inner battles—the struggles that lead to liberation and enable us to flourish where God has placed us—requires courage and doctrinal fidelity. As we establish the robust foundations of our Spiritist Centres, rooted in Allan Kardec's teachings, let us embody living examples of Christ, spreading light, understanding, and love throughout society.

Joining forces with numerous brothers and sisters from diverse corners of the globe, all eager to labor and nurture the message of Jesus, fills us with immense joy.

What a delight to have new growth opportunities. Let us blossom where God has placed us. Onward, brothers and sisters!
